Ascend offers you:

Out of work and not sure what to do? Ascend has supported over 100 young adults like you in Sheffield to find purpose and jobs. Our friendly team helps you every step of the way as you set new work goals and start the journey to achieving them.

At least two weeks at a work trial relevant to your goals. Each work trial is for a genuine job vacancy so if it’s a good fit for you then there’s a good chance it will turn into a paid job. If not, you can try more work trials. We also offer lots of extra support with job interviews.
Your own career mentor who will help you reflect on your journey and figure out the next steps. Plus, the support doesn’t stop when you find a job: we also stay in touch and continue to support you in your first few months at work.
The friendly and helpful Ascend staff go above and beyond to help you find the job you were made for. You’ll also make friends with other Ascenders during the hands-on group training sessions, which take place twice a month.
