We want to see a Sheffield where every young adult is able to find work and purpose.
The Ascend programme has a proven track record of supporting young adults to find and keep good jobs. It does this by creating a community around every Ascender, of trainers, mentors, and peers who support them as they take the next step on their career journey.
We’re so thankful to be partnering with Sheffield City Council, local businesses and churches, as well as a range of local and national funders, to continue to support Sheffield’s unemployed young adults.
There are thousands more young adults who would benefit from joining Ascend, and they can’t wait.

Support Ascend, transform lives
It’s easier than you might think.
People just like you are supporting Ascenders by:
Setting up a payroll giving scheme at their workplace, and using it to give a monthly - pre-tax - donation to Ascend.
Hosting a bake sale or other fundraiser to support one young adult through the Ascend programme.
Naming Ascend as their official workplace charity, working together as colleagues throughout the year to support local young adults.
Creating an entry-level role to help give an Ascender a chance to find their dream job.
Attending a Coffee Connect meeting, to meet Ascenders and encourage them in their journey.
